About you: An experienced Operations Manager, with experience gained in a steel/fabrication and/or building materials manufacturing environment. Adept with WHS laws and legislation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrable leadership skills. Happy to roll sleeves up and be involved in all elements of a manufacturing business as determined by business needs. A no compromise approach to quality. Experienced with communicating with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Systems and process driven, with a passion for developing staff. What you will be doing: Managing all operational elements of a business - staff, systems, productivity, processes, subcontractors, customers, admin, profitability, etc. Ensuring a safe and satisfying place of work. Focusing on improving efficiencies and maximising revenue through production and installation. Ensuring that designs and job sheets align with BOM's and client requirements. Overseeing the training and development of operational staff, resourcing, subcontractors, etc. Performing engineering, administrative and ancillary duties Ensuring designs conform to relevant engineering standards.
