About our Role Join the Barminco team as a Shotcrete Operator and support our underground mining operations across Australia, with opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you’ll play a key part in applying and spraying shotcrete to underground headings and excavations to provide immediate ground support in line with mine plans and safety standards. What will your day to day look like? Operate shotcrete spraying equipment to apply ground support in underground headings. Prepare work areas, including hydroscaling and fibrecrete as required. Monitor shotcrete thickness, quality, and coverage to meet design specifications. Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on shotcrete plant and equipment. Work closely with jumbo, charge-up, and service crews to maintain safe work sequences. Our ideal candidate background includes Previous experience working as a Shotcrete Operator working in underground mining. Demonstrated ability to operate shotcrete spraying equipment (manual or robotic). Knowledge of underground safety procedures permits and exclusions zones. We welcome personnel from a tunnelling background from non-mining industries! Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence). What can we offer you?
