6-Month Contract Tullamarine (Melbourne Airport)Hybrid WFH after training Pricing Specialist Freight Forwarding An Australian-owned freight forwarding business based in Tullamarine (Melbourne Airport) is seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist to join their Commercial team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with overseas freight forwarding experience, including candidates on a working holiday visa, who is looking to step into a commercially focused role within a supportive and established team. Reporting to the Team Manager (based in Perth), youll be responsible for pricing, quoting, and commercial support across freight forwarding operations. While this is a fixed-term contract, internal opportunities may be considered should they arise. Key Responsibilities Pricing & Quoting Prepare accurate and timely quotes for internal stakeholders Respond to pricing and rate requests from sales and operations teams Ensure all costs, margins, and commercial considerations are correctly captured Tender & Commercial Support Review and analyse tender documentation to understand scope and pricing requirements Support tender submissions with pricing models, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation Assist with pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable outcomes Systems & Data Management Maintain and update rates and pricing data in CargoWise Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with the Commercial Manager and internal stakeholders Maintain records of pricing activity and provide reporting as required Identify potential commercial risks and flag pricing discrepancies About You Freight forwarding experience is essential (international or overseas experience highly regarded) Previous experience in pricing, quoting, or sales support within freight forwarding ideal CargoWise experience is essential Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset Whats on Offer 6-month contract with a well-established Australian-owned forwarder Tullamarine (Melbourne Airport) location Hybrid working model after initial training Market-rate salary Opportunity well-suited to working holiday visa holders Potential consideration for internal opportunities if they arise PATH4 Logistics partners with leading employers across Forwarding, Customs and Logistics, offering access to a wide range of career opportunities.
