Strata Team Leader | Loss Adjusting Location: Brisbane Metro | Full Time | Hybrid Package: $90K–$110K Super Bonus Ready to lead, grow, and reshape a Strata Claims operation — not just manage a desk? We’re looking for a commercially minded Strata Team Leader to drive the day-to-day performance of the Sydney External Strata Claims Adjusting team, while growing the business, strengthening client relationships, and lifting team culture. This role is about leadership, growth, and team performance, managing only a small portfolio of complex senior-level claims. You’ll have genuine influence, autonomy, and the chance to shape the future of a specialist Strata practice. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and energise a team of External Strata Claims Adjusters Lift team culture in a predominantly WFH environment (including launching team days & stronger engagement) Drive business growth through client relationships, broker connections, and marketing initiatives Manage a small portfolio of complex senior level Strata claims from first notification through to final settlement Act as a technical referral point on coverage, policy interpretation, and complex matters Champion technology adoption and process improvements Allocate claims using a “right person, right job” approach Monitor service levels, compliance, workloads, and revenue targets Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers and strata managers Who We’re Looking For Loss Adjusting or senior Claims background (Strata ideal, but not essential) Experience in domestic property, major loss, or complex claims Proven people leader (small-to-mid sized teams) Strong policy interpretation, investigation, and technical claims capability Commercially savvy — comfortable building relationships and growing revenue Confident, proactive, and brave enough to walk into market and win business Highly organised with strong report writing, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Passionate about culture-building, leadership, and customer outcomes Qualifications & Experience Relevant loss adjusting or insurance qualifications (preferred) Professional accreditation in loss adjusting (desirable) Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements Experience in business development or market-facing initiatives is advantageous Why Join?
