Your new company Our client oversees a vast region of nearly 60,000 square kilometres which is home to around 30,000 residents living in thirteen unique communities, including Emerald, Blackwater, and Capella. They manage essential services, infrastructure, and community development, supporting a region rich in minerals and agriculture. Our client is strategically significant, encompassing parts of the Bowen Basin. They are looking for a Water Truck Driver to work a 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension. Your new role Operation and maintenance of vehicles, plant, and equipment Operating water truck General labouring when required Pre-start checks on machinery prior to operating and reporting any hazards What you'll need to succeed HC Driver's Licence minimumMinimum 12 months experience operating a water truckVarious construction plant and equipment statement of attainment or tickets e.g., roller, loader, grader, excavator etc. (or ability to obtain).White cardAbility to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A ScreenMust have contactable references What you'll get in return If successful in this job, you will get the ability to work for a council who care about a family-friendly roster with the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight. You will initially work a 6-month contract with the possibility of extensions, whilst having camp/share accommodation supplied while on roster.
