Key Account Manager - Requirements Of This Position The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for the oversight and delivery of contracted guard-force services across designated client data centre locations nationwide. The role acts as the primary point of contact between the contracted guard-force, internal support functions, and the Country Corporate Security leadership team, ensuring effective operational management, communication, coordination, and escalation. The KAM will assume full accountability for guard-force activities within the agreed Scope of Works, ensuring compliance with client security and safety policies, quality standards, and contractual SLAs and KPIs. This includes working closely with client stakeholders to adapt service delivery in response to evolving requirements or operational conditions. Key responsibilities include supporting the mobilisation of new services or sites, providing strong leadership to assigned guard-forces, and ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of personnel. The role also requires oversight of training programs, identification and remediation of capability gaps, and, where required, the development and delivery of targeted training initiatives. The KAM is accountable for ensuring all staff are appropriately equipped, informed, and compliant with client and Securitas security and safety procedures. All service delivery issues and incidents must be promptly identified, managed, and escalated in line with established protocols. This role is embedded within the client’s operational environment and requires regular local and national travel. Short notice travel and extended stays may be required to support projects or operational priorities. The position reports directly to the General Manager - Key Accounts.
