About the Role As the Property and Development Compliance Coordinator you will: Coordinate development compliance case management across building, plumbing and planning matters Support fair, consistent and practical enforcement outcomes in partnership with Council’s compliance team Oversee Council’s residential tenancy and lease portfolio, including staff housing Work collaboratively on land tenure matters, including trustee leases and culturally appropriate outcomes Mentor and support a small team while improving systems, registers and processes This role plays a key part in improving service delivery, governance and consistency across interrelated compliance and property functions What You’ll Bring We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in one or more of the following: Development or regulatory compliance Investigations, enforcement or statutory decision-making Property, leasing or tenure administration in a government setting Stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution Leadership, mentoring or team coordination Systems and process improvement mindset Relevant qualifications are valued, however demonstrated experience and willingness to learn are equally important.
