Backend engineer role modernising .NET services and owning key onboarding APIs. Your new company Youll be joiningSimons engineering team within the Origination and Customer Onboarding domain,responsible for the critical services that power customer onboarding flows. Thesquad is backendheavy, supports a mix of legacy .NET Framework 4.8 and modern.NET 8 services, and operates with high autonomy due to limited capacity. Your new role As a SeniorBackendleaning Software Engineer, you will design, build and maintain backendservices across both the legacy and modern .NET stacks. Youll work on customeronboarding APIs, participate in migration efforts to .NET 8, and manageendtoend delivery of features. The role includes working directly with SQLdatabases, troubleshooting and enhancing legacy systems, and integratingbackend services with internal frontends and platform components. While therole is predominantly backend, occasional light UI tasks may be required.
