Roster: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Key Responsibilities Include Working alongside the Head Chef to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students Menu planning, cooking nutritious Homestyle meals: fresh baked morning/afternoon tea; hot lunches, soup, evening meal and desserts Consideration of special dietary requirements including; allergies/intolerances, supplements Preparing high end food for various functions throughout the year Assisting with the management of small kitchen team, including training/development, motivation and encouraging staff productivity Forming and maintaining key relationships with residents, culinary team, client and management Strict adherence to Food Safety practices, HACCP and WH&S principles
