We are seeking a permanent part time Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join our team. You will: Be responsible for providing a high-quality, family-centred MCH service that promotes and protects the health and wellbeing of families with children 0 - 5 years in the municipality. Provide evidence-based guidance and advice, support and education on a wide variety of health, parenting and family issues Be a team player with a strong customer service focus. Work autonomously with clients and provide an MCH service with support from the team and your MCH Coordinator. Work in a team to solve problems and achieve outcomes in a constructive and collaborative manner. Attend regular Team meetings and planned professional development. Access to New Graduate support and mentoring if you are in your first 12 months of practice To be successful in this role you will hold AHPRA registration in General Nursing and Midwifery as well as tertiary qualifications in Maternal & Child Health. You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia, copies of your qualifications, a current Driver’s Licence & Employee Working with Children Check. You must be willing to undertake Pre-Employment Health check, as well as a National Police Record Check.
