The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Farming, the Farm Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in driving performance, sustainability, and operational excellence across the farming operation. This is an opportunity to lead with influence - leveraging advanced farming systems and data-driven technology to deliver high-quality forage that underpins the success of our dairy operation. The Farm Manager will take full accountability for the safe, efficient, and sustainable execution of the farm plan, including cropping, harvest, and irrigation programs. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, managing resource allocation, anticipating challenges, and providing clear, solutions-focused communication to the Head of Farming. Strong commercial and technical capability will be required to manage farm data through Agworld and other digital platforms, while ensuring input costs and labour resources are effectively planned and managed in line with approved budgets. Working in partnership with agronomy and nutrition consultants, the Farm Manager will drive continuous productivity gains, implement innovative practices, and utilise technology to enhance crop performance, resource efficiency, and operational outcomes. A key focus of the role is leadership. The Farm Manager will lead, mentor, and further develop a high-performing team, reinforcing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and uncompromising safety standards. By visibly role modelling best practice and actively leading safety initiatives, the Farm Manager will ensure the wellbeing of our people and our cows remains the highest priority. About AFMH Australian Fresh Milk Holdings (AFMH) is a world class dairy farming company focused on the sustainable production of high-quality fresh milk. AFMH operates multiple sites across eastern Australia. Dairy operations are located at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong, NSW, as well as Coomboona Farms in Coomboona, VIC. In addition, AFMH operates Ladysmith Farms, a young stock operation near Wagga Wagga, NSW.
