My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build and evolve large-scale digital platforms. You’ll join a high-performing engineering team responsible for modernising complex systems that integrate with industry stakeholders, external vendors, and government bodies. The environment spans legacy systems through to modern cloud-native architecture - so versatility and strong engineering fundamentals are key. The Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software components across web platforms Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Write clean, scalable, well-documented code aligned to best practice standards Conduct and participate in code reviews Perform unit and integration testing before QA handover Troubleshoot production issues and resolve defects Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, BA’s, QA and UX Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives Identify opportunities to modernise systems and improve performance, security and scalability This role requires someone comfortable balancing BAU support with project delivery in a fast-paced agile environment. Tech Environment .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, triggers) Microservices architecture REST & GraphQL APIs AWS cloud environment React / React Native (desirable) Git, Docker, Webpack Jira, Bitbucket/GitHub What We’re Looking For 5 years full stack development experience Strong background building large-scale web applications Experience working in cloud-based environments with DevOps culture Exposure to distributed systems or large enterprise platforms Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end principles Experience working within cross-functional agile teams Ability to estimate tasks and manage work end-to-end Strong written and verbal communication skills Bonus if you have: Mobile app development experience Experience with React Native Exposure to complex system integrations The Opportunity You’ll work on platforms that operate at scale and are central to a nationally significant ecosystem.
