This is a Water Product Senior Specialist role with Sydney Water based in Sydney, NSW, AU Sydney Water Role Seniority - senior More about the Water Product Senior Specialist role at Sydney Water The role leads the development and delivery of innovative strategic programs to ensure products delivered to customers meet quality and regulatory requirements, informed by customer insights, stakeholders, science, research, balancing cost and risk for either Wastewater or Drinking & Recycled Water What You Will Be Doing Lead the development and implementation of water product roadmaps, programs, improvement plans and projects. Support water product research, innovation and technology related to product, asset and service performance. Lead the development of Policy, Position Statements, Programs and Specifications to ensure product quality, quantity, reliability and resilience outcomes are met in alignment with customer outcomes. Steer the audit processes for the relevant water products, including operating licence audits and internal assurance audits. Ensures actions are implemented to address findings. About You Bachelor’s qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, or experience deemed equivalent. Demonstrated experience in water quality and integrated water cycle management. Advanced understanding of the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and/or the Australian Guidelines for Water Recycling and the application of risk management frameworks. Advanced analytical skills to identify issues, trends, drivers and links to customer/ regulatory needs. Experience leading technical projects requiring stakeholder management.
