You’ll be out in the yard and on the road, working hands-on with drivers to build their capability, confidence, and commitment to safety. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our driver team and keeping RFT at the forefront of the industry. About the Role As a Driver Trainer at RFT Wodonga, you’ll: · Train, review, and coach drivers in the yard and on the road · Conduct driver recruitment assessments and interviews · Support inductions and on-road observations · Carry out drug and alcohol testing, coupling checks, and site inspections · Complete driver reviews at 1 and 3 months · Travel occasionally to support other depots (Melbourne, Wagga, Sydney) · Report on training and driver activities using mobile technology (minimal office time) This is a full-time, permanent role based at RFT’s head office in Wodonga, reporting into the General Divisions Operations team.
