The ideal candidate is passionate about coaching and instructing children of all ages, is reliable and able to work as part of a team following direction from School Sport Staff. About the Position: As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll play a key role in teaching essential swimming skills to children of all ages in a fun and safe environment. Your enthusiasm and patience will be vital in fostering a positive learning experience. Working hours are from Monday to Saturday, including early mornings and some afternoons. Previous experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is available for the right candidate. As a Squad Coach you will be reponsible for facilitating squad sessions and assessing swimmer ability and grading. You will support our Squad Teams at swim meets and carnivals on occation. The role requires assisting with swim training before and after school hours, as well as on weekends. Strong squad and group management skills, along with foundational coaching abilities and experience in competitive strokes, are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: Conduct engaging and structured swimming lessons for children of all ages. Foster water confidence, stroke techniques and competitive strokes, and water safety. Tailor lessons to individual abilities and provide constructive feedback. Ensure a safe and clean pool environment at all times.
