Key Responsibilities Lead from the Front: Take ownership of complex projects - interpret P&IDs, develop detailed scopes, architect and implement advanced control strategies using Rockwell Automation platforms (primarily Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 ecosystems). Deliver at Scale: Drive end-to-end execution including design, programming, simulation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and optimisation on large-scale mining and industrial installations. Shape the Future: Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, champion best practices in automation integration, and contribute to strategic improvements in process efficiency, safety, and reliability. You Bring Proven leadership experience as a Senior / Lead Control Systems Engineer (or equivalent) in mining, minerals processing, manufacturing, or heavy industrial automation. Expert-level proficiency in Allen-Bradley / Rockwell systems - deep hands-on mastery of PLC programming (Studio 5000), HMI development (FactoryTalk), networking (Ethernet/IP), and related tools; experience with integrated architectures a strong plus. Strong background in translating P&IDs into functional control designs, with a track record of successful site commissioning and troubleshooting under demanding conditions. Excellent problem-solving instincts, stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Relevant tertiary qualifications (Electrical/Control/Instrumentation Engineering or similar) and Australian work rights.
