Our client manages all vehicle servicing, repairs, and vehicle turnaround to support high-volume rental operations. This position is located in Mascot NSW. Interested? About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their busy team as their business continues to grow. This role will allow you to utilise your skills and experience to provide service, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of late model fleet vehicles. The job is full time, and ongoing. Location: Based in Mascot NSW Responsibilities include : Provide first rate servicing and repairs to a fleet of rental vehicles Identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic equipment. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes tyre rotations and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs like engine rebuilds, transmission overhauls and replacing worn or damaged parts. Adhere to safety standards, following safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Work efficiently to ensure vehicles are serviced and returned to rental partners within required turnaround timeframes. You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths to be considered: Highly relevant trade qualifications (Certificate IV or agreed equivalent) At least 3 years, preferably more, post-training professional experience in a fast-paced fleet servicing environment. Demonstrated passion towards the automotive industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid references. A can-do attitude and team spirit. Great time management skills with the ability to manage multiple vehicles and service priorities. You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
