ICBM SERVICES PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Painting Trades Worker for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) across NSW, WA in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team. Title: Painting Trades Worker, Full- time position Salary: A$ 85,000.00 to 95,000.00 plus super Work Location: In person. We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following: Requirements • Certificate 4 in painting and Decorating. • Proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker for at least 2 years. • Knowledge of technical skills and attention to detail. • Attention to detail and precision. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Excellent problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities • Surface Preparation: Knowledge of techniques to clean, sand, and prime surfaces before painting. • Application Techniques: Proficiency in applying different types of paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. • Colour Mixing: Ability to mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired shades and finishes. • Tool Maintenance: Understanding of how to maintain and store painting tools and equipment. • Lift and Carry Equipment: Ability to lift and carry heavy paint containers, ladders, and other equipment. • Dexterity: Fine motor skills for precise painting and detail work. • Quality Control: Ensuring that paint is applied evenly and surfaces are free from imperfections. • Finish Work: Attending to the finishing touches that enhance the overall appearance of the painted surfaces. • Protective Gear: Using masks, gloves, and other protective equipment to prevent exposure to harmful chemicals. • Work Environment: Ensuring proper ventilation and handling of hazardous materials. • Regulations: Adhering to safety standards and regulations set by occupational safety authorities. • Cleaning equipment and work area If you would like to discuss the role further, please click APPLY and send through an up-to date CV.
