They are offering an immediate exciting opportunity for an experienced C++ Programmer with a specialty in graphics (Open GL) to join the simulation development team on the development of software components for the human-in-the-loop research simulator. The simulator is used to evaluate the human machine interfaces that support tactical crew members of a maritime surveillance system. Your role will be to refine and extend existing software associated with the simulation facility. You will be responsible for delivering, and fully documenting, software to support all aspects of the simulation; including scenario generation, sensor simulation, human-machine interface simulation, and data logging. You will work without technical guidance under the general supervision of a human factors scientist. You will be responsible for identifying requirements and developing software, along with planning and directing the work of other professional project staff.
