Production Machinery Operators Location: Pyramid Hill, VIC 3575 Tenure: Full-time Permanent Comprehensive salary package from $76,515 pa (plus superannuation) Position Summary: On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Production Machinery Operators who have strong communication skills, self-motivated and must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Required Skills and Experience: • Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology, or similar. • A minimum of two years of experience as an mechanical technician in a related industry. • Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs Major duties includes: • Operating mobile plant and equipment to manage in-feed and out-feed stockpiles (this will including wheeled-loaders and conveyors) • Operating production machinery, including calibrating equipment to monitoring gauges, making adjustments as required • Set up cleaning and maintenance schedules to prevent problems by keeping machines in good working order • Inspect finished products, take samples and undertake product quality control • Prepare products for dispatch Other required skills: • Good written and verbal communication skills; • Advance knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare and legislation, dairy production, and OH&S; • Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage Qualified applicants may apply online.
