The Adult Allied Health Team is seeking a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to join our team. These positions offer the chance to grow your clinical skills while experiencing one of the most unique and beautiful parts of Australia. Working with NT Health means making a real difference in the lives of people across Central Australia and the Barkly. In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team providing community based Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy services. Your work will include clients living in Alice Springs, as well as regular trips to remote communities throughout the Central Australia and Barkly regions. You’ll be joining a team of OTs, Physios, Speech Pathologists, Allied Health Assistants, and technical and administrative staff who genuinely enjoy working together. Teamwork is a big part of what makes this service run well, we look out for each other, share knowledge freely, and make the challenging days easier. Building strong relationships with your colleagues is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. Travel is a normal part of the role, by car and occasionally by light aircraft, and you’ll sometimes spend up to a week at a time in remote communities.
