What you’ll be doing: We are seeking a leader who will model and foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, safety and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include involvement in incident management including control, planning, mapping and the coordination of public information. You will also lead the Community Risk portfolio with responsibility for risk management planning, the fire trail and prescribed burning programs and contribute to the delivery of purposeful training to ensure our members are well equipped to meet future operational demands. Success in this role requires sound, confident decision-making within your portfolio and delegations, along with a strong understanding of volunteer-based service delivery and the unique challenges and opportunities it brings.
