We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Child Health Registered Nurse to join our remote Primary Health Care team. In this role, you’ll provide high quality child and family health services for children aged 0–17 years, working collaboratively with families, community members, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities • Deliver child health programs and care coordinate children with complex or chronic conditions. • Provide primary health care services in line with CARPA Guidelines. • Support, implement, and evaluate community health initiatives. • Work across the School Clinic, Outreach, and Health Centre as required. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data entry. • Build strong therapeutic and culturally safe relationships with families and communities. • Participate in a 24 hour on call roster for emergency care when required. • Practice autonomously, using advanced child health clinical skills. More info: https://ntphn.org.au/grants-and-scholarships/health-professional-relocation-grant/ Is the role right for you? • Minimum 5 years nursing experience, including at least 2 years in child, paediatric, or adolescent health. • Strong understanding of remote primary health care and the principles of community based care. • Demonstrated cultural competence and understanding of Indigenous health and social determinants. • Willingness and capacity to live and work in a remote community. • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. • Current WWC Check, National Police Clearance, Australian manual driver’s licence. • NT Immunisation Certificate, Advanced Life Support. • Remote Emergency Care and/or Maternity Emergency Care (or working towards). • Mandatory Reporting training (NT).
