The Role We're seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to support a citrus packing shed in Waikerie, SA. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, safety-first shed environment where teamwork and attention to detail matter. You'll play a key part in keeping fruit moving efficiently from receival through to packing and dispatch. Key Responsibilities Your focus is to safely move, handle, and stage citrus bins and product to keep the packing shed running smoothly and on time. Key responsibilities include: Complete daily/weekly forklift checks and report faults to the Operations Manager Receive, move, and stack bulk bins from growers/depots and across the shed Dip, sort, and stage bins by class/fruit type to support packing requirements Load hoppers and assist with container stowing, weighing, and weight recording Maintain hygiene standards for vehicles/loading areas and prevent overloading/mixing of fruit types Benefits $32.04 per hour penalty rates 5-6 months of work in-season 38 hours per week with steady rostered work Be part of a supportive shed team with clear processes and site leadership Work in a well-established citrus operation with a focus on quality, hygiene, and safe forklift practices Opportunity to build experience in packing shed logistics and export/domestic supply chains Your Skills & Experience Current forklift licence (LF) and confident operating in busy shed environments Experience moving bulk bins/pallets and working around packing lines and people Strong safety mindset and ability to follow traffic management and site procedures Comfortable with repetitive, physical work and working on your feet in a shed setting Able to complete checklists and basic records accurately Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team Willing to follow hygiene requirements (clean presentation, clean equipment, clean loading practices) Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
