The Murray Bridge Golf Club is located on Ritter Street in the river town of Murray Bridge in South Australia. The venue prides itself on a family friendly feel with a bistro that seats up to 100 people. Qualifications & experience Cook - experience essential Strong food preparation and presentation skills Minimum 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience required Strong customer service values and a passion for quality Strong time management skills Ability to work with team with variety of skill levels Excellent communication skills Excellent knowledge and practice of food hygiene standards Tasks & responsibilities Assisting Chef and Ensuring high quality of dishes and food safety Managing food costs, inventory and wastage Working in a team environment - fostering strong team relationships This is a Junior Chef position with opportunities for development of kitchen staff and fostering strong team relationships Day to day general kitchen duties The position is for at least 20 hours per week with more when functions are booked. The successful applicant will need to be available to work a rotating seven day roster, including nights and weekends, and must be eligible to work in Australia.
