About The Role The State Administrative Tribunal (the Tribunal) provides access to a single, one-stop tribunal, making decisions on a range of civil and administrative matters. With over 150 pieces of enabling legislation, the Tribunal is a fast paced and dynamic working environment. Ranging from Human Rights matters to Strata disputes, no two days are the same! This position contributes to supporting the functions of the Tribunal by effectively leading a Case Management team. It contributes significantly to supporting the case management of applications before the Tribunal ensuring accurate, efficient document management and listings processes and overall providing a seamless service to external parties and to the Judiciary and members of the Tribunal. The Team Leader is responsible for assessing applications received, allocating work within the teams and ensuring the appropriate service levels are maintained. It is expected to be involved in the management of matters that are of a complex, contentious and or sensitive nature. In the course of their duties, employees may be exposed to materials or information which could be distressing or confronting for some.
