About the Role We are seeking an experienced Program Manager on a contract basis to lead the initial phases of a major program delivering modular buildings into remote regions. This contract role is ideal for a highly skilled operator who can rapidly establish structure, systems, and momentum. A major component will be the design and implementation of a comprehensive site‑data and monitoring system , incorporating GIS mapping, satellite imagery, drone surveys, and remote‑sensing technologies. The program also involves international travel to engage with offshore manufacturing partners, assess production quality, review supply-chain readiness, and coordinate global logistics. Key Responsibilities Program Setup & Early Delivery Establish the full program framework, including governance, reporting, risk management, and scheduling. Develop the delivery strategy for multi‑site modular building deployment in remote areas. Coordinate procurement, logistics, contractors, and remote‑site readiness. Build early-stage momentum to set the program up for long‑term success. International Coordination & Travel Visit offshore fabrication facilities to oversee quality, production progress, and technical compliance. Engage international suppliers, engineers, and logistics providers. Align global production timelines with domestic installation sequencing. Data Systems, GIS & Remote Monitoring Design a robust system for collecting, storing, analysing, and visualising site data. Build GIS maps and spatial datasets to support planning and reporting. Integrate drone imagery, satellite data, and field-sourced information. Create dashboards or portals for stakeholders to access program-wide intelligence. Skills & Experience Significant experience delivering large construction or modular building programs. Strong capability in GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote‑sensing technologies. Demonstrated ability to set up and run complex programs from scratch. Experience in remote‑area construction and logistics (highly valued). Proven experience coordinating offshore manufacturing or global suppliers. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
