Building Manager - Tweed Heads / Southern Gold Coast Part-time | Opportunity to grow About the Company Our client is a well-established and growing property maintenance business servicing residential and commercial strata buildings, holiday lets, and private residences across the Tweed and Southern Gold Coast regions. They provide a full suite of services including cleaning, gardening, caretaking, handyman support, and pool maintenance, with a strong focus on transparency, reliability, and high-quality service. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a hands-on, capable Building Manager / Caretaking Coordinator to take ownership of several sites and act as the key on-ground contact. About the Role This is a varied, practical role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and responsibility. You will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation, coordination, and basic upkeep of assigned buildings, while acting as the primary liaison between residents, owners corporations, and external trades. Rather than managing multiple separate contractors, this role consolidates cleaning, light gardening, coordination, and customer interaction into one position, with support provided when required. Initially, the role will be a minimum of 10 hours per week across two days , with strong potential to increase hours and responsibility over time. Shifts are ideally 6:00 am to 1:00 pm , with some flexibility. Some duties may be performed remotely, and limited on-call availability may be required in the afternoons. Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Routine cleaning of common areas across residential and commercial buildings Replenishing consumable supplies Light gardening and general presentation tasks Occasional high-pressure cleaning Identifying, reporting, and following up on maintenance issues and hazards Acting as the main point of contact for Owners Corporations and residents Organising, coordinating, and escorting trades on site Basic oversight and light supervision of one to two staff members, as required Coordinating fire compliance and scheduled services Driving between multiple sites within the region About You You are practical, reliable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You take pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and well presented, and you are confident dealing with clients and contractors alike.
