About the Role As an OSHC Educator , you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-aged children before and after school, and during vacation care. You’ll build meaningful connections with children and families, support their individual needs, and contribute to a fun, nurturing space that encourages wellbeing, independence, and development. In this role, you will: Build trusting relationships with children and their families Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support learning through play Support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of children Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth daily routines Promote inclusion, confidence, and resilience in all children Make a positive difference in children's lives, every single day Job Description To be successful for this role, you must possess the following: Completed qualification in one of the following: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA Ability to actively contribute to the review and development of Children’s Services policies and procedures Extensive experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), with strong working knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and The My Time, Our Place (MTOP) framework Strong interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic Sound understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality Holds a current First Aid Certificate applicable to an education and care setting, including asthma and anaphylaxis management
