Working closely with domain experts, engineers, and delivery teams, you will be responsible for: Capturing and documenting detailed business and technical requirements. Translating high‑level concepts into clear, detailed, developer‑ready design specifications. Producing technical documentation including diagrams, flowcharts, and architectural artefacts. Acting as the primary technical liaison for developers and testers, ensuring alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle. Presenting and explaining design decisions, providing clarity and technical context. Participating in design reviews and ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices. Staying across industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in fleet management and autonomy. Contributing to architectural patterns, frameworks, and standards for the broader engineering team. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical leadership, and the ability to bridge the gap between SMEs and delivery teams. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a Software or Solution Architect delivering complex enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies and architectural best practices. Exceptional analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, agile environment. Experience producing high‑quality technical design specifications and diagrams. Excellent communication and presentation capability, able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Highly desirable skills include: Experience with mining fleet management systems or autonomy technologies. Hands‑on software development background. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
