Role Description This is an on-site Disability Support Worker role based in Toowoomba, QLD. The Disability Support Worker will assist clients with daily living activities, provide emotional and social support, and promote independence through person-centered care. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, fostering strong interpersonal relationships, following safeguarding protocols, and providing technical and administrative assistance when needed. Collaboration with team members and effective communication will be key to success in this role. Qualifications Experience in support work and providing care within a community or individual settingStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish meaningful connections with clientsKnowledge of safeguarding practices and commitment to following safety protocolsEffective verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration and client interactionBasic technical support skills, including familiarity with assistive devices or care equipmentA genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilitiesCertifications or qualifications in Health Services, Disability Support, or a related field (preferred)Current first aid and CPR certification, valid driver's license, and up-to-date background checks
