About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to provide engineering and technical support, with a focus on mechanical systems, equipment and installations. This position plays a key role in coordinating between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to achieve successful project outcomes. This is a BIBO position from Perth to the WA Mid West on 8:6 roster. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance off and onsite via technical understanding of project work scopes. Liaise with Engineers, Technicians, and Engineering Managers to determine scheduling and management of resources. Monitor safe execution of the project. Provide project reporting on progress, commercial, schedule, etc. Perform quality checks on project work, including coordination with third party inspection if required. Ensure approval of correct and timely paperwork for a seamless monthly billing process. Ensure project schedules are current, QA documentation is reviewed and transmitted to client. Complete project RFI, TQ and NCRs, and maintain registers. Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated with register maintained. Scope new projects and assist with technical input, sourcing of supplier pricing, quoting of work. About you Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3 years in a similar role. Strong technical skills with proficiency in structural steel assembly and fixings. Commercial experience with preparation of delays/variation claims. Ability to complete pre-Engineering for one or more disciplines, specify equipment, perform relevant work, organise field personnel into working teams and plan a safe execution of a project.
