This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting children aged 3 months to 5 years in a high-quality long day care environment. For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to step into a Team Leader role . About Us Nuriootpa Community Children’s Centre is a Rural Integrated community-based not-for-profit service , offering long day care and preschool programs, with a Department for Education (SA) Preschool located onsite . About the Role You will work collaboratively with educators and leaders across our service to: Provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years Build warm, respectful and meaningful relationships with children and families Support children’s learning through intentional teaching and play-based experiences Contribute to programming, planning cycles and documentation that makes learning visible Work as part of a reflective, supportive team culture Contribute to quality improvement and continuous professional practice Support our service in maintaining high standards in preparation for the Assessment and Rating process About You We are looking for someone who: Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) Has experience working in a long day care setting Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYLF , NQS , and quality improvement practices Has experience in planning, programming and documenting children’s learning Values collaboration, communication and reflective practice Builds positive, professional partnerships with families Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and child-centred practice Has a strong interest in leadership (or experience as a Room Leader/Team Leader) Essential Requirements Diploma qualification (or ACECQA approved equivalent) Current Working With Children Check Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain) Understanding of Child Safe Environments and mandatory reporting requirements Why Join NCCC?
