Your Opportunity As a Job Coach in the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program , you’ll play a key role in helping participants overcome barriers and prepare for meaningful employment. You’ll deliver tailored, person-centred support that builds confidence, enhances employability, and connects people to sustainable job opportunities. This is your chance to make a real impact - guiding individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions toward brighter futures through compassionate coaching and practical action. Key Responsibilities: Coach Potential: Support participants with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and group workshops to build confidence and employability. Create Pathways: Identify barriers with care and insight, connecting participants to services that support their employment goals and personal growth. Engage Employers: Reverse market participants and build strong employer relationships to uncover meaningful job opportunities. Caseload Management: Manage participant caseloads with care and efficiency, ensuring tailored support throughout the employment journey. Program Compliance: Manage complex administrative processes, ensuring meticulous record management and strict compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role operates within the Hobart Employment Services Area (ESA) , covering multiple locations including Glenorchy , Hobart , Rosny Park, Bridgewater , Huonville , Kingston , New Norfolk and Sorell . What You Bring Adaptability: Flexible and resilient, able to work effectively across multiple sites and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining high standards. Coaching & Connections: Apply a strengths-based, emotionally intelligent approach while building trust and adapting communication styles with professionalism and empathy. Tech Savvy: Highly proficient across a wide range of digital tools and adept at navigating multiple systems efficiently. Relevant Background: A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or related field), or lived experience navigating support systems to achieve education or employment outcomes is highly regarded. Pre-Requisites: Full work rights in Australia, with the flexibility to travel across the ESA. Obtain a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
