Permanent full-time role Competitive pay rate (depending on experience) Supportive environment with ongoing growth opportunities We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join a high-performing team in Darwin, working on specialised fuel transport trucks within a busy and well-established workshop. This role is suited to a qualified technician with strong heavy vehicle mechanical experience who is confident working independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, reliability and quality workmanship. Duties & Responsibilities Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, including specialised fuel transport trucks Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and safety Support workshop operations while maintaining a proactive and safety-first approach Work collaboratively with supervisors and other technicians to maintain high service standards Requirements Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Strong work ethic with high attention to detail Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship At Quest Personnel, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities for all and embracing diversity in the workplace.
