We capture the essence of big city energy, combined with the uncompromising quality of authentic Italian cuisine. Matteo Downtown is now looking for an experienced Trade Waiter to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for: Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff Facilitate the filling of drink orders between customers and the bar Suggest additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks, when appropriate Obtain amenities for patrons with specific needs, such as highchairs for parents Operate the drink fountain and coffee station Cash up till at end of every shift Memorise the menu for on-demand recitation Provide excellent customer service at all times; About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Trade Waiter; Strong communications skills and customer service; Ability to carry 3 plates and clear tables quickly and efficiently; Strong ability to remember orders and customers; Strong organisational skills and ability to be quick on their feet.
