South of Perth Yacht Club (SoPYC) is seeking an experienced and reliable Casual Bartender to join our friendly hospitality team in Applecross. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a community‑focused, waterfront environment , delivering excellent service to members and guests across bar, event, and hospitality operations. About the Role As a Casual Bartender, you will be responsible for providing efficient, professional, and friendly bar service across the Club’s bars and events. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and special events. Key Responsibilities Providing high‑quality bar service to members and guests Preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages Operating POS systems and handling cash accurately Maintaining a clean, well‑presented bar and service area Following responsible service of alcohol and Club procedures Supporting event service and busy service periods as required Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team What We’re Looking For Previous bar‑tending experience in a hospitality or club environment Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – essential Food Safety Handler Certificate – essential Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events Reliability, punctuality, and a positive team attitude Sailing or club experience is welcomed but not required .
