Continuing, Full Time Appointment Professional Employee Level 6 Annual salary $89,487 – $95,375 pa 17% superannuation & 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus | Larrakia Country Play a key role in supporting the research journey of HDR students through the effective coordination of the Faculty of Science and Technology’s Higher Degree by Research program About the Position As the HDR Coordinator you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of HDR and research training activities and includes secretariat support for Faculty HDR-related committees. The role is integral to maintaining a high-quality HDR student experience and supporting Faculty research governance, compliance, and reporting requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective, compliant, and efficient delivery of the Faculty’s HDR program, including administration of student financial support, candidature milestones, governance processes, space allocation, travel, research and office equipment, and related research training activities About You To be successful, you will require: Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and in a culturally sensitive manner with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain high standards of service and accuracy. Demonstrated experience in financial administration, including processing transactions, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with policy and funding requirements. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, preferably within a higher education or similar governance environment. Proven ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative and apply sound judgement in delivering administrative services. The base salary will be in the range of $89,487 - $95,375 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $104,699 - $111,588 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
