As a Bookkeeper Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our operations. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to develop your skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will be working alongside three accountants. The office is located near the Midland train station. There is some street parking and paid parking available. What you'll be doing Performing general bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing Providing administrative support to the accounting team, such as scheduling appointments, managing client files, answering telephone queries and welcoming clients Working on client Xero and MYOB files on a daily basis. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks Demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service and client satisfaction What we are looking for At least 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role in a tax accounting firm. Strong proficiency in using Xero and MYOB. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients and team members A passion for providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of the firm Certificate III or IV in Bookkeeping is required. ```
