Retail Shop Assistant Manager ParaQuad Industries is a not-for-profit social enterprise creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability through our Op Shops and recycling operations. We are are seeking an experienced, retail-savvy Assistant Shop Manager to help lead our Shenton Park store. About the Role As Shop Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Op Shop, leading a diverse team that includes people with disability, volunteers, and retail staff. You will balance strong commercial outcomes with social impact. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all retail operations, including sales, merchandising, stock control, and visual presentation Supervise, support, and develop staff and supported employees in an inclusive environment Drive sales performance and achieve budget and KPI targets Maintain high standards of customer service and community engagement Ensure WHS, cash handling, and compliance requirements are met Contribute to the growth and sustainability of ParaQuad’s social enterprise mission About You Proven retail management experience (Op Shop experience highly regarded) Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support a diverse workforce Commercially minded with a passion for customer experience Organised, hands-on, and confident in a fast-paced retail environment Values-driven and committed to inclusion and community impact Hold (or willing to obtain) a current NDIS check What We Offer Salary Sacrifice up to $18200, increasing your take home pay The opportunity to lead a brand-new store from opening A values-based organisation making real community impact Supportive team environment Ongoing professional development Apply now and help us create inclusive employment while delivering a great retail experience.
