About the role Join our team as a Bogger Operator at Peak mine, where you’ll be a vital part of our underground mining operations. In this hand-on role, you’ll be responsible for safe and efficient bogging, truck loading, and backfilling to help achieve our production and development goals. Relocation support and discounted company housing are available, along with a residential allowance and the option to boost your savings through salary sacrifice benefits DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Key responsibilities Operate boggers efficiently and safely, maximising equipment utilisation and minimising downtime. Follow bogging and shift plans to ensure optimal productivity, reducing rework and material wastage. Perform production and development bogging, including truck loading and backfilling of stopes and passes. Conduct daily pre-start and shutdown checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reporting requirements, including production data and equipment logs. Complete inspections, pre-starts, and housekeeping tasks while adhering to all training, operational, and safety requirements. Qualifications and experience Minimum 12 months of experience as a Bogger Operator in an underground mining environment. Strong underground equipment operation skills – particularly with boggers/loaders (manual/remote). Time management and reliability – ability to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety. Proven experience in truck loading, backfilling, and general underground operations.
