Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer & Civil Engineer to support the Interim DES scope of works and progress multiple packages to Approved for Construction (AFC) level. This is a key technical role within a high-performing project team, contributing to significant civil and rail infrastructure development. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will lead and deliver 100% design for the following scopes:Village Bulk EarthworksProposed Weeli Wolli Road RealignmentBakers Camp to Village Access RoadEarly Tonnes Rail SpurSwallow SidingGreat Northern Highway Intersection and Overpass Your role will include:Directing, developing, and delivering civil designs to AFC stageLeading civil design discussions with clients, internal teams, and third partiesOverseeing design drawing production, providing technical direction, and signoffDeveloping and managing 12D earthworks modelsProducing and verifying material take-offs (MTOs) About YouWe’re looking for a candidate with:Strong knowledge of Civil & Rail Design Criteria, Standard Drawings, and SpecificationsAdvanced capability in 12D and MicroStationDemonstrated ability in:Road, rail, and bulk earthworks design in 12DCivil MTO development and verificationManaging design quality and safety in design principlesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsA proactive, safety-focused approach to engineering and delivery
