Job description: Swimming Pool Technician – Clark Rubber EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED Are you an aspiring or experienced pool technician looking for your next opportunity? We are in a massive growth phase, and opportunities now exist for swimming pool technicians to join the Clark Rubber Joondalup. While predominantly out on the road, some retail shop work will be required during the cooler months of the year. Clark rubber Joondalup is seeking a Full-time Pool Technician to join our team. You will work Monday to Friday (min 38 hours per week). The successful candidate will be provided with extensive training. Please do not be deterred from applying if you are new to the industry. We operate : Advanced on-site and in-store water analysis. Services for electronic swimming pool equipment. An extensive inventory of chemicals, equipment & spare parts; and A large shopfloor/showroom and parking area. You will be trained and become highly proficient in the following areas : Manual pool and spa maintenance. Water testing and analysis. Service & repair of pool and spa equipment including pumps, robotic cleaners, suction cleaners, filters, chlorinators, heaters, pipework, and any other equipment which may need maintenance or repair; and Use of advanced diagnostic equipment to determine faults and problems. Once trained you will be able to : Test and balance water using advanced electronic equipment. Manually clean a variety of residential pools and spas. Install pumps, filters and chlorinators in line with manufacturer's specifications. Service and maintain all pool & spa equipment; and Learn skills which are transferable across our entire organization with many opportunities to grow in our company. Working in store as retail assistant as well, when not busy on field. To be successful in this role, you will also need to : Have a current Australian driver's license. Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also be able to work in a team environment as required Have excellent communication skills including strong written and spoken English Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers Take pride in their work Have a passion to learn and grow their knowledge Excellent time management skills. Be self-motivated, energetic and able to think on your feet. Be friendly, helpful and polite when dealing with our retail customers and service customers. Work in field and store when needed.
