We are seeking an experienced Rostering Officer to join our team for a full-time contract for 12 months. This role is responsible for rostering Care Workers, taking into consideration location of services, customer needs and preferences, geographical location, language, and service type. The Rostering officer will be responsible for consistent and high-quality rostering to enable the service to deliver high quality aged care services in the community. This position requires weekend work on a rotating roster. About you You will bring the following to this position : Previous experience rostering and allocation of employees Certificate III in Business Administration Experience with rostering software applications Experience in the aged care sector (highly desirable) Ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of people Ability to manage competing priorities and multi task Responsibilities and Duties Roster and allocate Home and Community Care Workers according to customer needs. Schedule and coordinate replacement Care Workers for planned and unplanned absences Regularly update Care Worker availability and monitor unallocated shifts. Action requests from the Customer Service Coordinator team relating to customer rostering amendments. Enter data accurately into the rostering system and ensure Payroll and Finance deadlines are met.
