About the Role This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for someone with a strong background in frontline management to assist in the delivery of daily learn to swim and aquatic education programs at Cockburn ARC. We are seeking an enthusiastic customer focused individual with a passion for swimming to promote, develop, supervise, and assist in a broad range of innovative aquatic programs. Reporting to the Aquatic Programs Team Leader you will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for our customers driven by consistent and effective policies and procedures. As the first escalation point for the swim school team, you will be responsible for liaising with members and customers to provide outstanding service people talk about. About you We’re seeking an energetic, motivated and customer focused individual, who strives for excellence and industry best practice, with a real passion for the aquatics industry. You will be comfortable engaging with people, having difficult conversations to reach the right outcome and troubleshooting staff and customer concerns. Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays to meet the operational requirements of the Cockburn ARC Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships High level proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and internet-based systems. Austswim certification or equivalent Austswim Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics qualification Senior First Aid and CPR certificate Working with Children Check. Salary and Benefits: Salary range from Level Four Step 1 – Step 4 ($85,331 to $91,017 per annum) of the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
