Perth based; 6-months About the role: This Rail Technology Programme is delivering a world-leading Communications Based Train Control system across a major WA rail network. The Project Specialist will support the safe, staged transition from legacy rail systems to the new signalling environment. Responsibilities include: Coordinate implementation and management of the change process; Coordinate and interface with other projects & key stakeholders; Ensure adherence to governance & approvals process; Escalate risks or potential impacts early with proposed mitigation strategies; Identify improvement opportunities for managing change and interfacing projects; Support planning and execution of migration activities; Capture operational feedback and support continuous improvement during migration. What you'll need to succeed: Experience supporting large-scale operational or technology migrations in complex environments Strong understanding of process for change management Ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and disciplines High attention to safety, risk management and operational continuity Strong planning, coordination and communication skills Rail operations, or projects experience Rail, heavy industry or safety-critical operations experience Exposure to signalling, train control, or major technology programmes Experience working in transformation or delivery environments Based in Perth, WA.
