Residential – Onslow Casual Indicative Package Range: $38.83 – $44.98 per hour superannuation (training rate – if you do not currently hold the qualification), or $44.98 – $51.99 per hour superannuation if you already hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection, depending on experience. If you do not currently hold the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection, the Shire will support you to obtain this qualification through company-funded training. Shire provided training to obtain Cert II in Transport Security Protection. About the Position We’re seeking enthusiastic and community-minded people to join our Airport Services team in Onslow. These casual roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment while contributing to the safe and secure operation of Onslow Airport. As an Aviation Screening Officer, you will play an important frontline role in maintaining aviation security by conducting passenger and baggage screening in accordance with national aviation security legislation and standards. This highly visible role requires professionalism, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while upholding strict security protocols. To be successful in this role, you will need to meet standard pre-employment requirements, including medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening, and be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). A Certificate II in Transport Security Protection is desirable. If you do not already hold this qualification, the Shire will provide training and support you to obtain it, including attendance at a training course in Perth. A current First Aid Certificate is also required, or you must be willing to obtain one. This is a residential role based in Onslow, suited to candidates who are already living locally or planning to relocate to the area.
