Peko Peko is looking for an energetic, motivated, and positive Sushi Roller to join our Dunsborough team as a casual position (24h per week). Our mission is to give our community greater access to healthy convenient food made with love. We are incredibly passionate about our fantastic range of “Feel Good Food” We have incorporated a high level of systemised food and service care into our business. This has resulted in an extremely high level of sustained quality and customer satisfaction. About the role: You will be preparing gourmet Asian style rice paper rolls in a high paced, open kitchen. Our “Feel Good Food” includes vegan, vegetarian, low carb & gluten free options. We use no instant sauces and definitely no MSG. Everything is prepared and cooked onsite by our qualified kitchen team. Who we’re looking for · People who value creating healthy food to the highest standards · Experience in Nori Maki sushi rolling will be valuable. · A trade qualification is desirable but not essential · High hygiene and cleanliness standards · Value and practice health and well being · Ability to work with a range of personalities in a multicultural workplace · Have an eye for detail and show high organisational skills · Ability to follow a systemised approach to your work · Enjoy working in a fact paced team environment What you will be doing Working in a systemised food environment you will be. · Rolling sushi rolls · Maintaining kitchen cleanliness · Monitoring sales to calculate preparation levels · Carrying out various kitchen preparation tasks · Cutting & preparing vegetables & meat · Working hours · Able to work a flexible schedule including days, weekends and public holidays · No late Nights, predominantly day shifts · Be available in school holidays and long weekends.
