BENEFITS Competitive salary package circa $90,000 plus Super Training and ongoing professional development and career progression Opportunity to work in a very fast paced and dynamic industry ABOUT THE ROLE A Fleet Controller manages the daily operations, logistics, and maintenance of a company's vehicle fleet to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation. Key duties include the following: Operational Planning & Scheduling: Coordinating daily vehicle allocations, deliveries, and collections to meet customer needs while maximizing vehicle utilization Driver & Asset Management: Supervising drivers, conducting daily briefings, monitoring driver behavior, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations Maintenance & Compliance: Scheduling preventative maintenance, approving repairs, and keeping accurate records of vehicle inspections and compliance documentation Real-time Monitoring & Support: Tracking vehicle locations via GPS/telematics, resolving breakdowns or disruptions in real-time, and communicating with drivers and customers Route Optimization: Planning efficient routes to reduce fuel consumption and improve delivery times Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining records on fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance ABOUT YOU To be considered for this role, you will ideally present with the following: Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in tracking software, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and Microsoft Office. Geographical knowledge of operating regions. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
