We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team and contribute to our daily production of high-quality baked goods. About the Role The Baker will be responsible for preparing, producing and baking a wide range of breads and bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and food safety within the bakery. Key Responsibilities Preparing and baking a variety of breads, rolls and other baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules Measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients to form doughs and batters using commercial bakery equipment Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding and shaping dough prior to baking Monitoring oven temperatures, baking times and product appearance to ensure quality standards are met Preparing fillings, toppings, glazes and other finishing ingredients for baked products Checking the quality of raw ingredients and finished baked goods to ensure consistency and product standards Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety and workplace health and safety regulations Assisting with stock control and ensuring bakery equipment is cleaned and maintained appropriately Requirements Relevant baking qualification or at least three years of relevant baking experience Experience working in a commercial bakery or similar high-volume food production environment Strong knowledge of bread and dough preparation techniques Ability to operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends and public holidays as required Good teamwork and communication skills Benefits Full-time position within a well-established and reputable bakery brand Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop and enhance professional baking skills Competitive salary package based on experience If you are passionate about baking and want to be part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality bakery products, we encourage you to apply .
